What to Expect During the Enrollment Process
The enrollment process is initiated by your public school district. You will sign a release that allows them to send us information and schedule an intake. After the intake, if we both agree that our school would be a good fit, we schedule a Planning and Placement Team meeting with you and determine a start date.
What to Expect on the First Day of School
On your child’s first day of school, they will be greeted by the school principal and clinician. Your child will be oriented to the program and introduced to the classroom and peers once he or she is ready. We take every opportunity to make your child comfortable. Once the day is over, a member of our team will reach out to you to let you know how the day went and share any important information.
The curriculum aligns with state guidelines and national standards, emphasizing core subjects such as English language arts, mathematics, science and social studies. Additionally, the curriculum includes art, physical education, transition education and health education to foster creativity, physical wellbeing and holistic development.
