Crisis Prevention Intervention
All staff at Natchaug Schools participate in the annual Crisis Prevention Institute’s Non-Violent Crisis Intervention training to ensure we are current in the research of de-escalation strategies and safe physical interventions. We follow all state laws, including conducting physical interventions for emergency situations only.
What to do when your child is sick
If your child is sick, please let the school office manager or principal know at your earliest convenience.
Inclement Weather
Since your child’s transportation is set up by the district, we cannot implement late arrivals. In the event of an emergency early dismissal, someone from the school will contact you immediately. It is important that you keep your contact information current with our office.
In the event of a weather closure, the school’s status will be displayed on local television stations and their websites. Please note, Natchaug has multiple school sites across the state so be sure to check for your child’s specific school.
